By using YesPotato you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
1. What the service is
YesPotato is a free tool that fetches publicly available Instagram media and delivers it to your device. It reaches only what Instagram already serves to any visitor without signing in. It does not bypass logins, paywalls, age gates, geographic restrictions or any other access control, and it cannot reach private accounts. It is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee. We may change, limit or discontinue any part of it at any time.
2. What you may use it for
YesPotato is provided for saving content you are entitled to save. In practice that means one of three things: content you created yourself, content you own the rights to, or content whose rights-holder has given you permission. If none of those apply, you should not be downloading it.
You agree that you will:
- only download content you created, own the rights to, or have the rights-holder's permission to save;
- not republish, redistribute, monetise, resell or pass off someone else's content as your own;
- not extract or reuse licensed music from a post you did not create;
- not use the service to harass, stalk, defame or infringe anyone;
- not attempt to reach private, age-restricted, paid or otherwise access-restricted content, or ask us to;
- not use the service to circumvent any platform's access controls, geographic restrictions, rate limits or paid tiers;
- not scrape, automate or overload the service, or attempt to bypass our own rate limits or the human check;
- comply with Instagram's own terms of use, which continue to apply to you independently of these terms.
You are solely responsible for what you download and what you do with it. Nothing here is legal advice; copyright and personal-use exceptions differ by country, and if you are unsure whether a particular download is lawful where you live, do not make it.
3. Copyright
All downloaded content remains the property of its respective copyright holders. YesPotato claims no ownership over any of it, hosts none of it, and grants you no licence to it. If you are a rights holder, see our DMCA policy.
4. No affiliation
YesPotato is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. “Instagram” and related marks belong to Meta. Your use of Instagram remains governed by Instagram's own terms, and you are responsible for complying with them.
5. Availability and accuracy
The service depends on how Instagram serves its data, which changes without notice. Features may break temporarily. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular link will resolve.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YesPotato and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data, or lost profits arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.
7. Advertising
The service is supported by advertising. Ads are served by third parties and we are not responsible for their content or the products they promote.
8. Termination
We may block access from any address that abuses the service, attempts to circumvent limits, or uses it unlawfully.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated version. The date above tells you when it last changed.
